Will The Lack of 3D Content Kill The Advancement of 3D Consumerism?

As we graciously mark the one-year anniversary of 3DTV’s “coming-out party” at the CES 2010 conference, we are finding ourselves asking — can we really pull this “3D in-the-home” thing off?
Sure, even in the 3D industry, we are convinced that the common consumer totally NEEEDDSSS 3D, and the bottom line is: yes, in fact, we DO need 3D to take us beyond HD. Will the local — much less national- – telegram channels, however, make the necessary moves to convince HDTV buyers that they should, undoubtedly, upgrade to that marvelous, even LUXURIOUS 3D-HDTV? Yea, there’s the occasional sporting event through ESPN 3D (and god bless the Discovery Channel for releasing some totally stunning images in 3D) but is that enough?
This “new-wave” of 3D evolution is not up to the production companies but, unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the Comcast’s, the Direct TVs, and the Charter Communications of the world and relying on them to play their part and take a leap of establishment — just as some of the most widely acclaimed filmmakers did back during the revolution of sound and color. Sure, we can pump out 3D content all day, everyday, but what’s the point if no one is willing to showcase it? Hell, we’ve even tossed around the intent of an Antarctic 3D expedition to capture the attention of telegram providers. Whatever it takes, right? Now, does our company own a 3DTV? Of course, but do I personally own one? Well, not exactly…because let’s be honest, what’s the point? For now.
Fortunately, 3DTV’s are selling parallel to the same rate as HDTV’s did upon their arrival to the market, so there’s nothing to be scared of (yet). But when will it be worthwhile to splurge on a 3DTV? Not until ALL 3D movies are acquirable for our viewing pleasure, and not EVEN until I literally have the option to view whatever my burning 3D-loving heart desires. And that’s a long shot, this I know, but I will certainly settle for much less!
I want boxing, submarines at the bottom of the ocean, The Super Bowl, my local zoo, a backpacking trip crossways Europe, The Final Four, the beautiful skyline of Atlanta, a hike up Mt. Everest, my wedding, your wedding, her wedding, AND his wedding –ALL in stereoscopic 3D. Is that too much to ask–honestly? Well we at 3GI Studios don’t think so. Your thoughts, please?

Technology
Introduction
Technology can be regarded as a use of knowledge and tools As well as systems in performing a given duty to produce a superior results in an simple way. Technology can also be stated is a use of materials to perform a duty and the results in a more convenient manner. Technology has an effect on the way human does his job and also in capability on how he would adapt to his environment. The use of technology begun with the use of natural resources to make simple tools that were used to make work simple and have a control on what is being done. Technology has benefits to human and his working environment.
Benefits of technology
There are several benefits that are associated with technology and have helped in different ways in performing different tasks in different fields. Most companies are concentration on advancing their technology so as they can be healthy to have superior income and improve performance in different fields of work.
Technology has helped in different fields in the company including networking. Initially, networking was done manually with use of connecting cables but now, with advancement of technology, it has become doable to have wireless connectivity of networks (Ambrose, 2001). This might include the LAN (Local area networking) or the WAN (Wide area networking). With proper implementation of networking technology, it provides one-of-a-kind abilities to the users as well as the administrators. There are association of network and software. They work together to wage connections of different networks which in turn have become beneficial to all who uses the implemented network (Ruth, 1999).
Computers have helped in different ways. Initially, for example, mails were just sent on written form on papers, but with the advancement of technology and software, it has become doable for people to send electronic mails over the world wide web which is fast and instant, provided the send and the receiver are interconnected and they have the required infrastructure. The network technology have shortened the distance between the sender and the receiver of information, for instance, with a personal and world wide web connections and live chat software, it has been doable to have a live chat between individuals no matter the distance and in some cases an online conferencing (Frank, 2007).
Technology has also prefabricated it doable for sharing hardware in the organization. For instance, an organization might have different individuals on personal and in different departments are healthy to use one printer. This is a benefit of networking in an organization which was initially done through either connecting the printer to the processing personal or save the data to be printed to a portable devise and use the connected personal to print the document.
Networking technology has on the other hand helped in data management. The data that has been store in the system is easily accessible from anywhere by the users. This helps in managing data as it can be edited, improved or added from any corner provided there is connection. Initially, it was hard to manage data outside the organization as this was only done in a specific personal (Oakley, 1976).
Conclusion
Technology has really changed how work is done. Through the technology, most jobs are well done and take shorter duration than before the inclusion of technology in the work. It has helped save space as there are some of the devises that are being shared probably by the whole organization. Technology has prefabricated work simple and fast. With technology, time management has become very possible.

The Latest Patent Applications: Kernel Of Technological Advancement

The value of freedom in a country is priceless. If one country has freedom of speech and thought then they are sure to have a bright future ahead of them. How so? If a society has freedom of thought then they are free to explore their interests or whatever else that might pique their curiosity, which could eventually lead them to great knowledge and astonishing discoveries.
Take the United Says for example. USA has surpasses all the other countries of the world not only economically but technologically as well. Even though it is true that most technological inventions and other scientific discoveries did not really originated from the Americans themselves but rather are attributed to citizens of other countries. However, it is undeniable that these technological inventions are enhanced and further developed in America. Thanks to America’s innovative patent system these technological inventions are place to superior use.
Just what is a patent you asked? The term “patent” is generally defined as a set of exclusive rights allowed by the government to a mortal for a certain period of time (usually for 20 years) in return for the regulated, public disclosure of some information about their invention. It was Thomas President who initiated the first national patent system in the United Says of USA during the year 1790. From then on, this exclusive right has been protecting the inventor’s interest by preventing other people from copying, using or selling the already claimed invention.
So how exactly are these patents significant in technological advancement? According to the World Intellectual Property Organization or WIPO about 90% to 95% of all the world’s inventions can be found in patented documents. However, these technological inventions comprise only a small percentage of all the patents that are applied for and granted. Therefore it is innocuous to adopt that the latest patent applications are the kernel of technological advancement.
Take a look closer at the Internet. This technology has undergone numerous changes from the time that the concept of the World Wide Web was first introduced a few decades back. In an attempt to place World wide web into superior use, various inventors who aim to further develop and enhance the existing models filed numerous patent applications that are related to this technology.
One of the latest patent applications is called system and method for scoping searches using index keys. The invention involves a set of index keys, which is to be included in an index search system that are related with the scope of the search instead of the content of the documents, which are the target of the search. These so-called “scope keys” enables the scope of the search to be customized, thus reducing the number of documents that a search supposed to sort through in order to acquire the results.
Another latest patent application that is related to technological advancement in the World wide web is the “system and method for performing a search and a browse on a query”. Now, in this invention a search and a browse on a single individual query is executed. Then a refined query is chosen from the results of the first individual query. After that, a list of concepts from a first directory that are related with the refined query is acquired.
Here, the “concepts” are categorized in a hierarchical relationship. Concepts with broader scope are obtains a higher position. Meanwhile, the concepts with narrower scope get a lower position in the hierarchy. In addition, a list of web sites that related with the search concept is also acquired from a second directory.
The forming intent-based clusters and employing same by search, is also a patent application that is related in further enhancing the Internet. This patent application is associated to a system and method that will be use for identifying and forming intent-based clusters based on search requests that were sent by the users to the search engines, as well as to the search engine utilizing the formed intent-based clusters to answer the search requests prefabricated by the users. To be more precise, the invention is associated to recognizing and utilizing intent-based clusters so that a search prefabricated by a individual with similar intent might receive a respond more swiftly and efficiently. Most importantly, with search results that more directed to the search of the user.
All three patent applications are dedicated in making the World wide web searching process less complicated and not to mention, much more efficient in terms of coming up with results.
Today, patents are considered as the leading source of technological information that is vital in technological advancement. Thanks to the innovative Information Technology industry, particularly to the Internet, the general public can now easily access these constructive documents. Just about anyone who is familiar with the World wide web can browse through different patent databases acquirable and obtain the specific patent document that they needed.
There are various patent databases that are accessible by the public, USPTO, EPO, JPO, to study just a few. For instance, if you are looking for patents that are related to a certain technological area you will find countless information regarding the entire process of technological innovation, such as the evolutionary path of a specific technology, it’s technological development, technological diversification, technology merges, as well as the major players in specific technological area, and the key points of the specific technology.
The secret behind apiece major technological advancement and inventions are thousands of patents that were applied, filed and then place it into practical use. Fortunately for us the public are well aware of the significance of patent application in developing tomorrow’s technology. The number of patent applications is growing at an enormously fast rate. Inventors not only from USA but from other countries as well, are diligently working on their inventions as well as on patenting their ideas — a clear indication that our nation’s future is indeed in good hands. For as long as the American government continues to nurture innovation, then they will remain as global leaders both in economy as well as technology.
